Condition Treated:  Ankle & Knee Pain

Experience:

I had a ligament rupture in the ankle and knee due to which was experiencing severe pain. It was then that I was recommended by a close relative to go to AktivHealth. My experience in this institution has been very good, to say the least. Apart from being attended to by Dr. Mueller and his team in a most professional manner, the staff also took pains to explain the problem which I was facing.

The analysis and formulation of my treatment plan were approached in the most methodical manner which proved to be so very effective. The quality of care has been very scientific and up to date. Experience:

I came to AktivHealth for consultation in the June of 2017, due to significant discomfort in my neck and right shoulder. Prior to learning about AktivHealth from a former patient, I had been to another mega-hospital that recommended 4 weeks of physiotherapy, which would have to be followed by surgery if the pain persisted.

The rehabilitation process at AktivHealth is remarkably different from commercial private hospitals. Dr. Mueller, after seeing my MRIs and examining me thoroughly expressed confidence that my discomfort would be significantly reduced and probably surgery would not be required. What I believe makes all the difference is his focus on the improvement of the current condition and a simultaneous larger focus on overall wellness. Mr. Ravees Raja, the physiotherapist assigned to me, was thorough and consistent in his treatment. I am one of your patients taking physiotherapy sessions at your institute. I had undergone breast surgery and while attending a physio seminar advice in August 2017, was recommended to Aktiv@Medanta by Dr. Kanchan. I was suffering from the poor core and low strength in legs due to which there was severe pain and my mobility was affected. I came to know about AktivHealth from my coach who strongly recommended the center to me. On my first visit itself, I was impressed by the manner in which a patient is attended to. Experience:

I was suffering from a lot of body nerve problems and pain in my lower back after undergoing a hysterectomy. I approached many governments as well as private institutions but experienced no relief. The doctor treating me for my gynecological problem in a multispecialty hospital in Delhi recommended AktivHealth for Orthopaedic therapy and based on this recommendation, I started my treatment immediately under the expert guidance of Dr. Ankita Rana.

Experience:

I was experiencing severe low back pain which was vibrating to the right leg. As a result of this, I was unable to stand or walk. I had been to quite a few medical institutions earlier but my condition only worsened after the treatment. A friend of mine suggested to visit AktivHealth and thus, I came here on 3rd Sept 2018. The way I was attended to by the staff at AktivHealth, instilled a sense of security and confidence in me. The approach of Dr. Mueller and his team of specialists is very scientific and methodical. I learnt about AktivHealth through a friend who has benefitted from this institution. I came to the center in Oct 2016 suffering from severe pain in the right foot and ‘clicking’ noises in my knee. I had inflammation of 3rd,4th & 5th MTP joints in the foot and after analyzing my condition and carrying out the requisite tests, I was put through a detailed regimen under a physiotherapist. The kind of attention to detail, personalized care and scientific approach displayed by Dr. Mueller and his team are simply exemplary. After undergoing three to six sessions of physiotherapy, there was a marked improvement in my condition and I definitely feel that I am on a path to recovery.

Condition Treated: Disc Prolapse

Experience:

I heard about AktivHealth from a business contact who profusely recommended the European developed facility to me. I was suffering from ‘L4/L5 issues’ in my back which was resulting in severe pain in my right leg. Though I had visited a medical center earlier and met a physiotherapist to get treated, the experience did not result in any meaningful long-term result. Ironically, the advice recommended was 8 days of complete bed rest which was at a variance of what I actually needed.

At AktivHealth, the issue was diagnosed quickly and accurately by Dr. Mueller (MD) and his team and the treatment plan formulated accordingly. The prescribed plan was to address the root cause of the problem which involved heavy physiotherapy in a progressive manner. The quality of care right from the diagnosis by Dr. Mueller to the implementation of my treatment plan delivered by my therapist Ms. Pallavi was excellent and thoroughly professional. After the physiotherapy sessions, my problem has almost disappeared and I have a better understanding of the stretching and strengthening exercises which motivates me to follow the regimen as advised. Without a doubt, the western approach is more proactive since it addresses the root problem as compared to ‘rest in the bed’ approach.

Condition Treated: Slip Disc & Back Pain

Experience:

I am a Zumba instructor and was diagnosed with a slipped disc and also severe back muscle spasm. I couldn’t sit for a long period. At that time I was referred to Dr. Mueller at AktivHealth at sector 62, Noida and I met Dr. Nandlal who explained the symptoms in very simple terms and also suggested a treatment plan and I was placed under the able care of my physiotherapist Bushra Ansari initially Bushra gave manipulation therapy and within a week, all the symptoms of stiffness and pain reduced almost to a zero range and then I continued with the treatment plan and slowly regained strength under her care, she beautifully explained all the exercises needed to be done and also encouraged in times when I was really very down and gave me the confidence back and now I am very happy and I am back to taking my regular Zumba classes again so I would recommend the AktivHealth to everyone who wants  to get better very soon.

Experience:

I was suffering from complex regional pain side, frozen shoulder and ligament tear. I visited AktivHealth in May 2018 after hearing through AED school and was also recommended the same by my colleague’s wife. When my mother visited India, Dr. Mueller saw her and her experience was an influencing factor too. I did visit other institutions earlier but they lacked the know-how to treat a CRPS patient. Moreover, they were extremely aggressive with the therapy which only led to more inflammation and subsequently, pain.

He made me follow the regimen to the hilt by constantly encouraging me in a most indulgent manner. I have no hesitation in stating that I feel a tremendous improvement now. When I first came to AktivHealth, I could hardly move my hand and arm /hand and could not perform basic tasks such as combing my hair or brushing teeth with my right hand. The pain and inflammation were terrible and I could not sleep.

I came to know about AktivHealth from my fitness coach who profusely recommended this center to me. I was suffering from pelvic strain and adductor injury due to which, I could not run the way I used to before. Prior to my coming here, nobody was able to understand the real problem.
