I had also sensed this well before we dropped in when I had interacted with your staff on the phone to get a general idea, later to fix our appointments, and finally when seeking road directions the day before our visit.

I visited AktivHealth, Gurgaon to consult Dr. Chengappafor my knee pain. I live in Chandigarh and came especially for the consultation to your center. Experience:

I came to AktivHealth in February 2017 with a wrist injury that was sustained while playing football. I also used to feel weak in my joints and muscles as a result of which, a feeling of inertia had crept into me. I learned about the center from my mom who advised me to go there without wasting any more time. I injured both my wrist and ankle, my ankle was the main one, I had two tears in my ligament and I did was playing soccer and so after the injuries, I went to the doctors and the doctors said that I should rest recover wait for them to get better so, my friends and teammates told me that I should try to go to AktivHealth. So, I went to AktivHealth and my physical therapist was Ravees Raja, we really worked on strengthening the ankle as well as doing the rest and recovery.

I thank Ravees Raja, my treatment from AktivHealth was extremely beneficial and nowadays my ankle is almost completely better the swelling is almost completely down and I am starting to get back to my regular activities and my soccer performance has improved as well.

Condition Treated: Postural Dysfunction & Muscular Imbalance of the Upper Back

Experience:

I came to know about AkthivHealth through a friend who was suffering from an ailment in her back and was treated by Dr. Mueller and his team effectively which finally enabled her to walk. This motivated me to visit the center. The upper region of my back and the shoulder area were weak and I was also suffering from the marginal frozen shoulder which rendered me inactive. I used to experience chronic pain in the general area.

Earlier, I had visited a local medical institution, but the treatment was only partially beneficial since my whole body was not addressed. I was suffering from a meniscal tear in my right knee due to which I used to experience excruciating pain. I was reconciled to surgical treatment since no solution was in sight. It was then that I came to know about the treatment in AktivHealth by some of my colleagues.

I visited the center in the summer months of 2017 and at the outset, I have no hesitation in stating that the feeling was immensely gratifying. The way my ailment was analyzed by Dr. Mueller and his team speaks volumes of the degree of professionalism of the entire staff at AktivHealth. After due deliberation, a plan was customized incorporating my physiotherapist Ms. Rashmi Gupta who was assigned to me. The regimen was so formulated that it was progressive and by constant encouragement of the physiotherapist, I could follow the entire plan to the hilt. The sensitivity displayed by Ms. Rashmi Gupta was of a high order and her indulgence, care as well as dedication were the hallmarks of her involvement.

I was guided and at the same time constantly encouraged to follow the exercise plan due to which I feel so well and good. I can say with confidence that now my knee does not bother me as before and I feel much better. With our combined effort, the difficulties have been overcome and as I leave India, the memories of AktivHealth shall never fade. Experience:

It’s been a lifesaver for me I was previously a tennis player for over 20 years and I fell and I tore a few ligaments in my shoulder I showed it to a few orthopedic experts and after consultation they advised surgery I was a bit reluctant to go under the knife so, I took a second opinion with AktivHealth and Dr. Mueller immediately advise me against surgery and said that I can be rehabilitated with physical therapy and so I underwent 6 week program first for rehabilitation during which Ravees was the physical trainer performed manipulation and exercises to help recover some of them and kind of revitalise some of the muscles around the injured areas and then I went for further strengthening exercises with Ravees for another 3 weeks and I am happy to report that I am back on the court I am playing as aggressively as ever I have still a small issue with overhead smashes and serves I still manage to do it it’s just not as free as I was used to but for the most part, I am almost completely recovered without any surgical intervention. So, I am highly impressed by AktivHealth and its services and its staff.

Condition Treated: Back Pain

Experience: 

I came to AktivHealth almost a year ago with chronic severe back pain which was preventing me from playing my favorite sport, tennis. Before coming to the centre, I had sought treatment at another clinic where I underwent electro-modality as well as doing some stretching exercises. I experienced temporary relief for just two to three days without any permanent cure. It was then that I learnt about AktivHealth.

I was assigned to Ms. Lipi Verma, a physiotherapist at the center. She has been extremely sensitive and thoughtful while handling my queries and issues and uses her knowledge, experience, and dedication to personalize the therapy according to the patient’s requirement. At AktivHealth, the sessions were flexible with my medical state. They focused on cardio, rehabilitation, and core strength building. After 8 months of therapy with AktivHealth, I achieved my goal of completing my first triathlon! I feel confident in the skills and knowledge of Dr. Mueller and his team. At AktivHealth, I was associated with Ravees Raja who did my assessment and identified my weak and underused muscle groups and my over-used muscle groups. Working with Ravees has been fantastic. He set my fitness program for me and answered all my questions about fitness and the impact of one movement or injury on different muscles. When I felt an injury coming on, he assessed it and gave me advice on prevention and treatment.

Experience:

I underwent reconstruction surgery of my left knee due to recurrent patella dislocation but was still not feeling confident of bearing weight on the left leg and was walking with a limp. I was then introduced to AktivHealth by a family friend who recommended the center to obtain a second opinion.

The whole program was devised to make the cure self-sustaining. The exercise program designed by my physiotherapists Mr. Sumit and Ms. Kanwalpreet helped me with movements, strengthening of my knee, improvement of my posture as well as overall fitness level. Dr. Mueller and his team also put focus on other areas of the body which demand attention along with strengthening the primary area.

The technique followed in this center is significantly different from the approach followed by other facilities. The treatment has been extremely well rounded and effective. I suffered a severe injury in my knee due to a road accident due to which I used to experience pain as well as a lack of flexibility in the knee. I got to know about AktivHealth from my friends who strongly recommended the center to me. On coming here the first thing that I noticed was that Dr. Mueller and his team of specialists went about diagnosing my problem in the most professional manner and at the same time, were sensitive to my medical condition and requirements.

Experience:

I was suffering from intense pain in my left knee for the past 18 months. Due to my ailments, I was constrained to discontinue playing sports, especially tennis, as I used to experience acute pain. I visited AktivHealth after hearing about the center from a friend of my mother who had also benefited from the treatment over here. Though I had approached different physiotherapists for my treatment earlier, AktivHealth is the first medical institution I have been to. Experience:

I was suffering from severe pain and swelling in both my knees, back and neck which prevented me from standing at ease. I also used to experience a great deal of discomfort while negotiating stairs especially while coming down. On the recommendations of the physiotherapist who was treating me at some other place and also by various orthopedic doctors, I chose to come to AktivHealth.

The care taken by the physiotherapist Ms. Pooja Chabbra to understand and analyze my problem has been truly exceptional. What was striking in my rehabilitation program was that no machines were used for my treatment. By the use of hands and subjecting me to a regimen of exercises, I was treated effectively and to my full satisfaction. I was made to do exercises that helped in the mobility of muscles not used initially and this has made me feel more active.
