I had also sensed this well before we dropped in when I had interacted with your staff on the phone to get a general idea, later to fix our appointments, and finally when seeking road directions the day before our visit.

I visited AktivHealth, Gurgaon to consult Dr. Chengappafor my knee pain. I live in Chandigarh and came especially for the consultation to your center. On our departure from your beautiful world, we would like to express our sincerest thanks and gratitude for making our visit so exhilarating, eventful and memorable.

My doctor specifically handpicked the Physiotherapists for me, and I totally agree with his judgment. Condition Treated: Bilateral Knee Pain

Experience:

I was suffering from severe pain and swelling in both my knees, back and neck which prevented me from standing at ease. I also used to experience a great deal of discomfort while negotiating stairs especially while coming down. On the recommendations of the physiotherapist who was treating me at some other place and also by various orthopedic doctors, I chose to come to AktivHealth.

The care taken by the physiotherapist Ms. Pooja Chabbra to understand and analyze my problem has been truly exceptional. What was striking in my rehabilitation program was that no machines were used for my treatment. By the use of hands and subjecting me to a regimen of exercises, I was treated effectively and to my full satisfaction. I was made to do exercises that helped in the mobility of muscles not used initially and this has made me feel more active. The approach and dedication of Dr. Mueller and his team reflect the level of commitment of this center in addressing the complexities involved with patients. This is by far the best rehabilitation center I have ever visited. I feel much better wherein I experience no pain and can stand easily as well as climb stairs comfortably.

Condition Treated: Knee Pain

Experience:

I underwent reconstruction surgery of my left knee due to recurrent patella dislocation but was still not feeling confident of bearing weight on the left leg and was walking with a limp. I was then introduced to AktivHealth by a family friend who recommended the center to obtain a second opinion.

The whole program was devised to make the cure self-sustaining. The exercise program designed by my physiotherapists Mr. Sumit and Ms. Kanwalpreet helped me with movements, strengthening of my knee, improvement of my posture as well as overall fitness level. Dr. Mueller and his team also put focus on other areas of the body which demand attention along with strengthening the primary area.

The technique followed in this center is significantly different from the approach followed by other facilities. The treatment has been extremely well rounded and effective. It actually felt like ‘on-the-job training’ on injury management. After my rehabilitation process at AktivHealth, I feel fitter and have gained a lot of confidence to subject my body to various activities.

Condition Treated:  Ankle & Knee Pain

Experience:

I had a ligament rupture in the ankle and knee due to which was experiencing severe pain. It was then that I was recommended by a close relative to go to AktivHealth. My experience in this institution has been very good, to say the least. Apart from being attended to by Dr. Mueller and his team in a most professional manner, the staff also took pains to explain the problem which I was facing.

The analysis and formulation of my treatment plan were approached in the most methodical manner which proved to be so very effective. The quality of care has been very scientific and up to date. Experience:

I came to AktivHealth in February 2017 with a wrist injury that was sustained while playing football. I also used to feel weak in my joints and muscles as a result of which, a feeling of inertia had crept into me. I learned about the center from my mom who advised me to go there without wasting any more time. There is no doubt that the quality of treatment, right from diagnosis to completion of the plan, is unparalleled.

Experience:

I learnt about AktivHealth through a friend who has benefitted from this institution. I came to the center in Oct 2016 suffering from severe pain in the right foot and ‘clicking’ noises in my knee. I had inflammation of 3rd,4th & 5th MTP joints in the foot and after analyzing my condition and carrying out the requisite tests, I was put through a detailed regimen under a physiotherapist. The kind of attention to detail, personalized care and scientific approach displayed by Dr. Mueller and his team are simply exemplary. After undergoing three to six sessions of physiotherapy, there was a marked improvement in my condition and I definitely feel that I am on a path to recovery.

The pain has reduced significantly which can easily be attributed to correct diagnosis and focused care. My foot now can take the weight and even the tenderness has reduced drastically.

Condition Treated: Patella Dislocation

Experience:

At AktivHealth, the sessions were flexible with my medical state. They focused on cardio, rehabilitation, and core strength building. After 8 months of therapy with AktivHealth, I achieved my goal of completing my first triathlon! I feel confident in the skills and knowledge of Dr. Mueller and his team. My fitness has improved and I now enjoy being fit and active. I no longer dread going to the gym but instead, I look forward to it! I feel more comfortable in my skin and my body feels more energetic.

At AktivHealth, I was associated with Ravees Raja who did my assessment and identified my weak and underused muscle groups and my over-used muscle groups. Working with Ravees has been fantastic. He set my fitness program for me and answered all my questions about fitness and the impact of one movement or injury on different muscles. When I felt an injury coming on, he assessed it and gave me advice on prevention and treatment.

Condition Treated: Disc Prolapse

Experience:

I heard about AktivHealth from a business contact who profusely recommended the European developed facility to me. I was suffering from ‘L4/L5 issues’ in my back which was resulting in severe pain in my right leg. Though I had visited a medical center earlier and met a physiotherapist to get treated, the experience did not result in any meaningful long-term result. Ironically, the advice recommended was 8 days of complete bed rest which was at a variance of what I actually needed.

At AktivHealth, the issue was diagnosed quickly and accurately by Dr. Mueller (MD) and his team and the treatment plan formulated accordingly. The prescribed plan was to address the root cause of the problem which involved heavy physiotherapy in a progressive manner. The quality of care right from the diagnosis by Dr. Mueller to the implementation of my treatment plan delivered by my therapist Ms. Pallavi was excellent and thoroughly professional. After the physiotherapy sessions, my problem has almost disappeared and I have a better understanding of the stretching and strengthening exercises which motivates me to follow the regimen as advised. Without a doubt, the western approach is more proactive since it addresses the root problem as compared to ‘rest in the bed’ approach.

Experience:

I was suffering from intense pain in my left knee for the past 18 months. Due to my ailments, I was constrained to discontinue playing sports, especially tennis, as I used to experience acute pain. I visited AktivHealth after hearing about the center from a friend of my mother who had also benefited from the treatment over here. Though I had approached different physiotherapists for my treatment earlier, AktivHealth is the first medical institution I have been to. Experience:

I came to know about AktivHealth from my husband who is also a client of this institute. I was experiencing pain in the right shoulder as a result of which, the movements were also restricted. Though I have been to other institutions that are good in their own way, since none of them could provide a rehabilitation program, I was not benefitted in any way.

Experience:

At 93 (Joan) and 94 (Dilip) years of age, we are luckily in good health. But with few aches and pains, we both needed extra exercises. After consulting with Dr. Mueller, we have been coming to AktivHealth twice every week. The rehabilitation process at AktivHealth has been excellent and enjoyable. Experience:

I came to know about AktivHealth through the internet and came to the center in December 2015. I was suffering from chronic cervical pain (headache) and severe pain in the neck. Germany had undergone few physiotherapy massage sessions for the same but there was not much relief.
