I had acute shoulder and neck stiffness and was skeptical for physiotherapy before coming to AktivHealth. My mother used to come here after her knee replacement surgery. So, I started to accompany her to AktivHealth. She asked me to at least give it a try. So, I did. I met my doctor and physiotherapist here and within 5-6 sessions, I saw a lot of improvement in my posture and pains. I can stand tall and I felt lesser pain my shoulder and stiffness in the neck as I used to feel earlier. Experience: I am 53 years old and I am from Germany, working at the German Embassy. When I came to AktivHealth, I had some problems with my neck and my shoulders and all through my lower back. Because of a lot of work on the computer, I suppose. I went into treatment with the team of doctors & physiotherapist here. They are really very good. They suggested a treatment which was a mix of Manual therapy and exercises. Now, I am really feeling much more relaxed. Experience: I am 63 years old. I had been leading a sedentary lifestyle so I had pain and aches all over the body which I assumed to be a normal aging process till my son persuaded me to come to Dr. Mueller’s clinic for help. Experience: I am 69 years old. I have been suffering from Cervical Pain & was completely on medications. I met Dr. Mueller & they evaluated my problem. My therapist has been taking care of me very well. She has a thorough knowledge and I am really blessed to have her as my therapist. My problem is totally resolved now. I am off painkillers now. Experience: I am 70 years old. I was suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis. I couldn’t even walK. I consulted a doctor and then, they suggested medicine and exercises. I joined yoga and started morning walk also. Everything I was doing but my condition didn’t improve. I was relying on medicines for pain relief. Experience: I came to the AktivHealth in 2015 with severe back spasm because of my slip disc. I was in tears because I couldn’t feel anything else except my lower back. So, I took a session with Dr. Gerd and Gaurav who is my therapist. During my first session with Dr. Gerd, I already started to feel better because whatever exercises or stretches that he did it opened my back up and that’s when I realized that this is the place for me. It’s been four years today my back is totally fine. I’ve been doing core exercises and strength training and it’s really improved my back and posture.

I am a Zumba instructor and was diagnosed with a slipped disc and also severe back muscle spasm. I couldn’t sit for a long period. At that time I was referred to Dr. Mueller at AktivHealth at sector 62, Noida and I met Dr. Nandlal who explained the symptoms in very simple terms and also suggested a treatment plan and I was placed under the able care of my physiotherapist Bushra Ansari initially Bushra gave manipulation therapy and within a week, all the symptoms of stiffness and pain reduced almost to a zero range and then I continued with the treatment plan and slowly regained strength under her care, she beautifully explained all the exercises needed to be done and also encouraged in times when I was really very down and gave me the confidence back and now I am very happy and I am back to taking my regular Zumba classes again so I would recommend the AktivHealth to everyone who wants  to get better very soon.

It’s been a lifesaver for me I was previously a tennis player for over 20 years and I fell and I tore a few ligaments in my shoulder I showed it to a few orthopedic experts and after consultation they advised surgery I was a bit reluctant to go under the knife so, I took a second opinion with AktivHealth and Dr. Mueller immediately advise me against surgery and said that I can be rehabilitated with physical therapy and so I underwent 6 week program first for rehabilitation during which Ravees was the physical trainer performed manipulation and exercises to help recover some of them and kind of revitalise some of the muscles around the injured areas and then I went for further strengthening exercises with Ravees for another 3 weeks and I am happy to report that I am back on the court I am playing as aggressively as ever I have still a small issue with overhead smashes and serves I still manage to do it it’s just not as free as I was used to but for the most part, I am almost completely recovered without any surgical intervention. So, I am highly impressed by AktivHealth and its services and its staff.

Condition Treated:  Wrist & Ankle Sprain

Experience:

I injured both my wrist and ankle, my ankle was the main one, I had two tears in my ligament and I did was playing soccer and so after the injuries, I went to the doctors and the doctors said that I should rest recover wait for them to get better so, my friends and teammates told me that I should try to go to AktivHealth. So, I went to AktivHealth and my physical therapist was Ravees Raja, we really worked on strengthening the ankle as well as doing the rest and recovery.

I thank Ravees Raja, my treatment from AktivHealth was extremely beneficial and nowadays my ankle is almost completely better the swelling is almost completely down and I am starting to get back to my regular activities and my soccer performance has improved as well.

Experience:

I was experiencing severe low back pain which was vibrating to the right leg. As a result of this, I was unable to stand or walk. I had been to quite a few medical institutions earlier but my condition only worsened after the treatment. A friend of mine suggested to visit AktivHealth and thus, I came here on 3rd Sept 2018.

The way I was attended to by the staff at AktivHealth, instilled a sense of security and confidence in me. The approach of Dr. Mueller and his team of specialists is very scientific and methodical. The personal attention by Ms. Shachi, the physiotherapist assigned to me, has been praiseworthy indeed. Her constant motivation encouraged me to carry on with the treatment plan religiously as a result of which, I have almost recovered and felt completely fit and normal now. In fact, I started experiencing relief after the first session itself.

Ms. Shachi Singh was highly professional in her approach and helped me in restoring my health in such a short time. She explained to me in detail about each and every exercise rather consciously which further motivated me to adhere to the regimen. I was suffering from complex regional pain side, frozen shoulder and ligament tear. I visited AktivHealth in May 2018 after hearing through AED school and was also recommended the same by my colleague’s wife. When my mother visited India, Dr. Mueller saw her and her experience was an influencing factor too. I did visit other institutions earlier but they lacked the know-how to treat a CRPS patient. Moreover, they were extremely aggressive with the therapy which only led to more inflammation and subsequently, pain.

At AktivHealth, it was totally different. After evaluating my condition, Dr. Muller and Dr. Dhawan formulated a detailed plan which was customized to my needs and instructed the physiotherapist accordingly. Mr. Nitin Sharma, my therapist, has been a very dedicated professional and I am very satisfied and happy with the services rendered. During every session, the professionalism and conscientious effort exhibited by him has been exemplary. He made me follow the regimen to the hilt by constantly encouraging me in a most indulgent manner. I have no hesitation in stating that I feel a tremendous improvement now. When I first came to AktivHealth, I could hardly move my hand and arm /hand and could not perform basic tasks such as combing my hair or brushing teeth with my right hand. The pain and inflammation were terrible and I could not sleep.

Now I am able to do all the things. Thanks to Dr. Mueller and his team, I feel so much better now. Undoubtedly, AktivHealth is a great institute and I am particularly grateful to my therapist, Mr. Nitin Sharma for his dedication and professionalism.

I was suffering from the poor core and low strength in legs due to which there was severe pain and my mobility was affected. I came to know about AktivHealth from my coach who strongly recommended the center to me. On my first visit itself, I was impressed by the manner in which a patient is attended to. The treatment plan was designed in a manner so as to strengthen my core and also improve my posture. My physiotherapist Mr. Suryamani, constantly guided and encouraged me to religiously follow the stipulated exercise schedule as a result of which, I feel physically stronger and even my posture has improved to a great extent. I feel much better and confident than I was before.
